Contrary to many DVD releases, however, the nighttime or more dimly lit scenes often look better than some of the more brightly lit, special effects-laden ones. ![]() The picture is uniformly sharp, detail is crisp without looking over-cranked, black levels are solid and color reproduction is vibrant.
